Tim Fischer, Candidate for the 14th District, Ingham County
Tim is running for Ingham County Commissioner to put his solution-oriented and common-sense approach to use on behalf of the taxpayers. Fischer will ensure that folks in Mason, Leslie, and Dansville, and Townships of Bunker Hill, Ingham, Leslie & Vevay have a strong advocate in the Commission.
Tim Fischer is committed to making county government work for the people of the 14th District. His priorities are continual improvement in essential government services, wise stewardship of the natural resources that underpin the district’s agricultural industry and quality of life, and sound fiscal management of taxpayer dollars.
From construction job-site problem solving to finding creative solutions to make public policy work for the people, Fischer’s approach is practical, pragmatic, and inclusive. His deep agricultural roots, commitment to smart government and common-sense solutions will all make Tim an effective Commissioner.
Tim, his wife Tara and their four children live in Mason where they grow food, raise chickens and keep honeybees. He works full time for a statewide nonprofit pursuing public policies that protect Michigan’s public health and natural resources.
